Will the music that ANTHEM sings be appropriate for my event?
ANTHEM always tailors its performance to your specific requirements. You may wish to run a function where every piece of music is carefully chosen, or you may wish us simply to turn up and perform for a certain period of time, with a mix of choral, comedy, gospel and musical numbers. You may wish to maximise audience participation, or you may require ANTHEM as background music.

Can you help us plan music for our Event?
Absolutely, you may have an initial consultation with our Musical Director to establish the intended form of the function, and he will offer recommendations based on ANTHEM’s considerable experience of performing at these events.
Do you have sound equipment?
We supply our own sound equipment and amplification which is set up prior to our performance, and is available to you should you require it for speeches. We are extremely versatile and flexible, both in terms of performance and in terms of any specific requirements plus we are very used to last minute glitches and changes but we promise the show will go on!
How many singers do you recommend for an event?
A normal performance at a function would require a group of approximately 10 singers. This is something that can be specifically tailored to your needs, for example a smaller group can be used if there are space limitations, without taking from the quality of the performance.
What do you wear?
ANTHEM normally perform at events in black. However, you may wish to have our Gospel Choir, which would be decked out in full gospel robes. Again this is entirely up to you, and the content of your event, or the mood you wish to create.
Can I request a song that's not in the Repertoire?
Of course you can, with just a short bit of notice. And this extends to accompanying of "party pieces" on the night. ANTHEM also has a full Christmas repertoire for seasonal or end-of-year events. ANTHEM always tries to ensure that, from a musical point of view at least, your event will be memorable!
Do you perform outdoors as well as indoors?
Yes we do – everything from private roof terraces to the East Pier at Dun Laoghaire Harbour! The only issue is the weather, as we cannot perform outdoors in rain, to ensure the safety of our electronic sound equipment and keyboards (not to mention our singers!)
How much do Anthem charge?
The charge is dependant on the number of singers you choose and the travel distance involved. We recommend a minimum of eight singers plus accompanist with prices starting at €800.
